Might as well be walking on the moon

The moon is awesome! And the fact that the US was able to land a manned craft on it in 1969(!!!) is mind boggling. Even more so when you consider that the cell phone in your pocket has something on the order of 100,000 times more processing power than the computer than managed that feat.

Which gets to our trivia question. How many US astronauts walked on the moon? It’s 12, over the course of six lunar landing missions from 1969 to 1972.

Our photo today is of the most recent blood moon, as viewed from Seattle.
